Security & safety first app protects in dangerous situations

Unwanted incidents on the construction site can lead to a sudden hazardous situation that requires a rapid response. In this case, camera-based surveillance of the construction site can also contribute to greater safety for all workers. For example, project managers can use the “Security & Safety first” app, which is offered in addition to Video Guard, to send an evacuation announcement. This is done via the loudspeakers attached to the guard tower.

The discovery of bombs during civil engineering work, excavated gas pipes or leaking chemicals can lead to a situation that requires immediate action by those responsible for the construction site. This is because everyone working on the construction site must be brought to safety as quickly as possible. With this in mind, camera-based surveillance with Video Guard has been supplemented with an intelligent additional option: the “Security & Safety first” app allows users to access the construction site from anywhere using their smartphone. And it is not only possible to view the surveillance area – an evacuation announcement can also be made via the loudspeakers integrated into the camera tower. In this way, everyone can leave the construction site in a short time, get to safety and contact the appropriate experts to eliminate the danger. Video Guard therefore makes a significant contribution to safety on the construction site and for the people working there.
