This is done via the best network: By using special IOT SIM cards, the most powerful network (3G/4G/LTE/5G) from the various providers is always selected automatically.

There is no reason for this. We work with thermal imaging cameras or infrared spotlights whose light is invisible to the human eye. For this purpose, only the customer's property is monitored; adjacent private and public areas are blacked out and are therefore not visible. Only the loudspeaker activated in the event of an alarm can be a nuisance, but of course it also helps to protect neighboring properties and objects.

Yes and no. Thanks to our intelligent video analysis software, constant human monitoring is not necessary. Our cameras analyze the surroundings and use intelligent video analysis to raise the alarm as soon as someone moves in the surveillance area. This alarm is received and verified in our own 24-hour control center. The control center employee then initiates appropriate emergency response measures.

Our control center ensures your safety. As the customer, you decide whether the police or a security service should be notified from here in the event of an emergency. We will be happy to advise you on your choice.

VIDEO GUARD is - as far as we know - the only insurance-certified system in Germany where insurers trust the function of the video tower without any ifs and buts. We secure your construction site against theft and vandalism and are self-insured for up to €500,000 per claim - for your safety.

Yes. In areas without a mains power supply, VIDEO GUARD SOLAR offers a permanent solution based on the integration of an environmentally friendly fuel cell in conjunction with photovoltaic support and a battery pack. In contrast to gasoline or diesel generators, this solution is environmentally friendly and is therefore also permitted in nature conservation areas.

Our technical solutions are really well thought out. We don't skimp on camera technology and have opted for permanent surveillance of a large area - without any panning breaks. Our high-resolution cameras have a perfect view even in the dark (for humans). When it comes to video analysis, we have chosen to work with the market leader and largest patent holder in the industry in order to avoid false alarms caused by outdated algorithms and to avoid impairing the ability of our trained employees to concentrate. We ensure that the functional chain of monitoring remains in our hands from start to finish by developing, producing and operating it ourselves. Our company's own German control center, which is manned around the clock, is an important component in alarm verification and subsequent alarm tracking by a security service or the police.
With regard to the much-discussed issue of additional lighting, we have decided to offer this only as an option at the customer's request. We ourselves want to avoid attracting attention by using colored lighting on the construction site, as this is likely to attract thieves in the first place.

VIDEO GUARD surveillance systems consist of the highest quality, industry-tested components that withstand cold, wind and weather. However, should a component fail, our automatic test routines detect the fault immediately and an alarm is sent to our control center. From here, we organize the fastest possible troubleshooting with our 24-hour technical on-call service. We therefore offer the highest possible system operational readiness.

Image storage is useful for documentation purposes and, if necessary, to support police investigations. Storage should be redundant in the device and in the alarm center, with storage in the minimum HD standard. We store in the standard tower with a resolution of 5 megapixels. The storage period of the data is subject to legal requirements. We are also happy to adapt to your wishes.

The video material is stored encrypted in the camera on site and only transmitted encrypted to our control center by the integrated detection software in the event of an alarm. Only our trained control center personnel have access to the images.

According to the BDSG/DSGVO, video surveillance may not cover public traffic areas. In addition, the monitoring area must be clearly marked. We exclude public areas using software that complies with data protection and compliance requirements. The video surveillance area is also marked in accordance with the law using large banners and GDPR-compliant signage, which also has a deterrent effect.

We are at home guarding construction sites, but of course we are open to everything. In addition to the already wide range of applications, VIDEO GUARD has also monitored parking lots, fairgrounds and beer gardens. Our sales department will be happy to advise you after a visit with an individual security concept and a non-binding offer.

During order planning, we determine the responsible police department, which is contacted in the event of an alarm. The responsible department is informed about our project in advance so that any subsequent intervention can run smoothly. If necessary, we will subsequently make the video material available for the purposes of criminal prosecution, of course exclusively within the framework of the GDPR.

Of course, our customers are free to decide who we contact in the event of an alarm. Before you start guarding, you determine who will be available as a contact person.

Unfortunately, only he can influence this and it always depends on the location and situation. In the case of a VDS-compliant deployment and a correspondingly (more expensive) contract with the security service, it must be on site within 20 minutes. We therefore recommend that you cooperate with your local police station free of charge.

By eliminating false alarms through our process, we generally map the alarm intervention through the deployment of police forces. These are generally faster on site and considerably more professional than private security services. Unlike private security services, the deployment of police officers is free of charge for you. Nevertheless, it may make sense to use private security services in individual cases. We explain the advantages and disadvantages to you in the development of the joint security strategy.
Our advantage is that the police are happy to work with us as a German control center because we have built up trust in advance, can direct emergency services and help catch thieves.

No. The labor costs significantly exceed the costs of our security solutions. Depending on the service provider, human surveillance is also more prone to failure and errors than our technical surveillance. Nevertheless, humans are fortunately not obsolete per se, as there are always areas of application where human service and flexibility make the difference. We advise you on the right mix for the right situation. Although we consider technical monitoring to be forward-looking, our primary concern is to satisfy you as a customer.

Yes. In our view, a patrol is also a waste of money. A visit of 2 times 10 minutes during the night cannot prevent theft. At best, the police detect a break-in. In our opinion, you can save yourself these expenses. However, the situation is different with a closure check. We consider this to be generally sensible, but it does not replace surveillance. From three checks per night, the patrol service is not even cheaper.

In addition to the pure rental and set-up costs, there are often additional fees depending on the number of alarms and alarm interventions. As purely event-driven costs, these cannot be calculated in advance and may exceed the pure rental costs in individual cases. Thanks to our prior alarm verification with first-class video quality and our alarm intervention by police officers, there are no follow-up costs. Accordingly, we guarantee 100% adherence to costs.

No, we work with a so-called "object-based" video analysis that excludes false alarms caused by insects. In addition, we are not dependent on lighting in the guarded area, so insects are not attracted to the light.

Together with you as the client, we determine the times at which the video surveillance should be activated. (For example, from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends). Of course, you can change the times at any time by calling our control center and providing your security password. In construction in particular, the weather often does not adhere to fixed working hours.

We offer you various technical solutions for different areas of application, each with a different range: Our standard product, the VIDEO GUARD PROFESSIONAL has 3 cameras and has a reliable detection range of 2 times 80 meters each and once 40 meters day & night. Our self-sufficient VIDEO GUARD ULTRAS with their two thermal imaging cameras detect intruders up to 80 meters away. The third camera of the Ultra has a range of up to 40 meters. For smaller tasks, we recommend our VIDEO GUARD ONE with just one camera and a range of 30 meters at an aperture angle of 100°. We also offer niche products, e.g. for the wind industry with viewing distances of up to 250 meters. Simply explain your problem to us - perhaps we can offer a suitable solution. Our technicians are always interested in new challenges.

When specifying the maximum monitoring range, the ambient parameters must be taken into account. As thieves rarely come during the day and in sunshine, the area must be specified under the most unfavorable parameters possible, such as darkness and heavy snow/rainfall. Our systems reliably detect even under unfavorable conditions at a distance of up to 80 meters and cover a monitoring range of up to 170°. This information has been checked by our insurance company and confirmed by objective measurements by independent third parties.

Due to the design, the close range around a video tower generally forms a blind spot for camera detection. As this area cannot usually be compensated for by physically setting back the tower, especially in high-rise buildings, this creates uncontrolled access routes for potential perpetrators. We solve this problem by using a third special camera. In this way, unnoticed intrusion can be ruled out.

VIDEO GUARD video towers use intelligent video analysis to monitor your premises at the times you want to be protected. The cameras detect people and cars almost flawlessly and transmit the corresponding messages to our own German control center, which is manned around the clock by trained staff. The videos are verified there, offenders are addressed by our loudspeaker system on site and asked to leave the premises and, if necessary, further immediate measures are initiated, e.g. alerting and directing the local police.

Of course! Any monitoring system is only as strong as the weakest link in the chain. Video surveillance systems in particular offer the most comprehensive information for safely assessing a hazardous situation. However, specially trained and experienced personnel are required for optimum analysis. This is provided exclusively by a dedicated alarm center, which controls and documents all alarms and the resulting measures using alarm processing software specially tailored to the respective monitoring system. If you want to work with the police, it is advisable to use a control center based in Germany. Otherwise, the police may not be inclined to follow up a call for intervention.

Sure! We even have to hide public areas. We can also technically hide your desired areas forever in compliance with data protection regulations.

With VIDEO GUARD Professional, an integrated rechargeable battery guarantees full function for a further 24 hours if the power supply is interrupted. Our battery backup also applies accordingly to our lighting, so that the entire tower is still operational at night until our technician arrives and fixes the problem. Otherwise it would be too easy to outwit the blind system at night.
In addition, with VIDEO GUARD SOLAR we offer a system that is self-sufficient in mains power, which, thanks to its internal fuel cell in combination with solar support and a battery pack, allows the system to operate for months without an external power connection.

Only permanent functionality of the monitoring system guarantees appropriate safety. We permanently monitor all relevant functions using a software-supported test routine. In the event of a problem, our 24-hour technical on-call service is available.
