Location for Video Guard in Vienna
International Security GmbH (ISG), a member company of AddSecure Smart Surveillance, is now opening a new location for Video Guard in Austria. The camera-based monitoring system has already been successfully established in Germany and Denmark for years. The Austrian branch and the associated local customer service will now intensify the company’s activities on the European market.
With the new contact point in Vienna for the Video Guard surveillance system, ISG is strategically expanding its Europe-wide sales and development network. The increased growth market and the continued strong demand for security services – even beyond Germany’s borders – are the reasons for the new branch in the neighboring country. The expansion is an important step towards further developing the European market with mobile surveillance towers. The opening of the branch office in Denmark a few years ago marked the start of sales abroad. Another location in Europe will follow at the beginning of 2022. “After successful developments in Germany and Denmark, it was logical to take the next forward-looking step and establish a third point of contact for European customers,” explains Sönke van Hoorn, Sales Manager for Video Guard. The sales representative has been with the company for six years and will take over the management of the new office in Vienna. The company has already worked successfully with Austrian customers in the past. In recent years, there has been an increase in inquiries, particularly for securing construction sites and storage areas. With the new branch, local market requirements can be processed faster and more efficiently. In the near future, in addition to the office location, the company plans to set up its own production facility in Austria, where the camera towers will be manufactured, stored and maintained.
Intelligent surveillance
The guarding system is not only used to protect construction sites, but also to guard car parking areas, wind turbines or logistics areas. The mobile camera towers, which are up to six meters high, are each equipped with three ultra-lowlight cameras that keep a reliable eye on the selected area. The intelligent analysis technology uses a neural network that enables self-learning video analysis. Unauthorized persons are immediately detected by the system when they enter the premises. The incoming alarm is evaluated by the specialist staff in the connected security control center and further steps can be initiated, including alerting the local police.
