Video Guard now also at Boels Rental
A cooperation that creates synergies: International Security GmbH, a member company of AddSecure Smart Surveillance, has now agreed a cooperation with Boels Rental for the German market. This covers the area of mobile camera surveillance. ISG is thus expanding its own sales network and opening up new markets. With Video Guard, Boels Rental customers receive reliable protection for their machines and equipment – right at the start of the rental period and from a single source.
Monitoring systems are indispensable for securing construction materials and equipment. This is because construction delays due to theft and vandalism can be effectively prevented. Renters of machinery and equipment are also aware of this. Boels Rental and International Security GmbH, a member company of AddSecure Smart Surveillance, are working together to make the commissioning of mobile camera surveillance particularly straightforward. AddSecure is one of the leading European providers of premium IoT solutions with a focus on secure critical communication and data – among other things, the company offers Video Guard, a solution for mobile camera surveillance. In future, it will also be distributed on the German market by Boels Rental. “We offer temporary camera surveillance via our branch network. This means we are close to our customers and can identify and meet their needs locally,” explains Robbert Willemsen, Business Unit Manager at Boels Site Security and IQ-Pass International BV. For ISG, the cooperation primarily means expanding its own sales activities via a major player in the equipment rental sector. “Boels Rental has a correspondingly large customer base. Video Guard is an ideal addition for them – because the same applies to rental machines: if they are stolen or damaged, the process on the construction site comes to a standstill. Surveillance significantly reduces this risk,” explains Jörn Windler, Managing Director of International Security GmbH.
Reliable surveillance
Video Guard is not only used to protect construction sites, but also, for example, to guard logistics areas, critical infrastructure, car parks and event areas. This is because the camera tower, which is up to six meters high, can also detect large areas: A single one covers up to 5,300 square meters without gaps – this cannot be reliably monitored by a staffed security service. Video Guard scores with intelligent analysis technology. It ensures high accuracy and short response times when detecting unauthorized persons. The latter are recorded immediately and the corresponding image material is transmitted to the connected security control center, which can then immediately initiate further steps: from direct contact via the loudspeakers integrated into the camera tower to notification of the local police. Since both the area to be monitored and the detection times can be precisely defined, unintentional detection of passers-by is ruled out. This is an important aspect with regard to data protection.
