Video Guard guards large construction site in Dortmund-Aplerbeck
High-quality living space is currently being realized in the south of Dortmund. Three buildings with a total of 84 apartments are due to be completed by spring 2022. To protect the extensive construction site in Marsbruchstrasse from theft and vandalism, the area is monitored by Video Guard Professional.
Attractive living space is currently being created in Dortmund-Aplerbeck on behalf of TEAMRHEINRUHR Projektentwicklung GmbH. The new-build project comprises rental apartments of various sizes that appeal to almost all age groups and household types. The two- to four-room apartments, which range in size from 52 to 129 square meters, are suitable for singles, couples and families alike. The four-storey buildings – including a staggered storey – will be barrier-free with elevators. There will also be 85 underground parking spaces for cars and bicycle parking spaces outside and in the basement.
In order to enable the future tenants to move in as soon as possible, the construction process should not be disrupted. Unfortunately, theft and vandalism on construction sites occur again and again after work and at night. To prevent this, those responsible rely on the professional surveillance system Video Guard. The camera towers, which are up to six meters high, detect the entire area with three ultra-lowlight cameras each. These are deactivated during working hours. If unauthorized persons enter the premises during security hours, a signal appears in the round-the-clock operations center. The trained personnel assess the situation and, if necessary, ask the intruders to leave the premises via loudspeaker. If necessary, the local police are alerted. As the construction site in Aplerbeck is located directly on a busy road, it is important that all legal guidelines and requirements – including those set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – are complied with in full.
