At the turn of the year 2020/2021

For most, the past year will remain a memorable one – new circumstances have led to drastic changes in many areas. So the pandemic was and is certainly formative for all of us. But despite all the reflection, it is also time for optimism – and a look back at 2020 shows that it was an eventful year for the employees of the International Security Group (ISG) and its sales partner Maibach VuS.

The areas of application for the intelligent “Video Guard” camera surveillance system have expanded: this year, for example, the towers were also installed in some gyms that could not be operated – or secured locations for pop-up events. Areas belonging to car dealers also had to be monitored more frequently, as vehicles were left in the yard for much longer than originally expected – awareness that these assets should be secured has increased. Both the International Security Group and its sales partner Maibach VuS can look back on a busy year. The International Security Group has also taken an important step in terms of its investment power: With the takeover by AddSecure, product developments and enhancements can now be carried out even faster and more flexibly. AddSecure is a leading European provider of IoT (Internet of Things) solutions with a focus on secure critical communication and data and is targeting a growth market with the acquisition – as the use of mobile video surveillance is expected to increase significantly in the coming years, and not just in Germany. The joint mission is now to improve safety in the construction industry, the transportation sector and for utility companies, among others. In North Rhine-Westphalia, the experienced and long-standing partner Maibach VuS will continue to handle sales, logistics and customer service. Here, too, there has been an important, groundbreaking change in recent months: the company moved to a new location in Gescher. Not only are modern workplaces now available to employees, but space has also been created for further growth.

We look forward to exciting projects in 2021 and would like to take this opportunity to thank all employees for their solidarity and commitment over the past year. We would like to thank our partners and customers for their trusting cooperation.

We wish you a blessed and relaxing holiday season and, above all, good health for the coming year!
