Video Guard Compact: Flexible surveillance solution with limited space
Hardly accessible areas and limited space: the conditions for setting up a Video Guard camera tower are not always given. The experts for intelligent video surveillance have developed an innovation to ensure that these areas are also effectively secured. Video Guard Compact has the same impressive technology as the large camera towers, but can be attached quickly and easily by one person to existing scaffolding on the construction site, for example. This means that this product variant does not require its own floor space. The low weight and compact size also save transportation costs and enable parcel shipping. Once the system has been installed, the Video Guard experts set it up remotely using the software.
When planning a security concept, the focus is of course primarily on the property itself. However, factors such as the size of the area to be monitored and the space available for the monitoring system must also be taken into account. Construction sites in city centers in particular are often so cramped that space is needed for building materials and machinery. A compact camera installation for monitoring these areas is the right solution here.
Compact and quick to install
Video Guard Compact is a surveillance solution that is particularly suitable for challenging conditions and is also very flexible. The camera is housed in a compact box, which can be mounted on scaffolding, walls, masts, on the construction container or crane thanks to the multi-mounting adapter. They are quick and easy to fit. Only one person is required. The camera only needs to be aligned to the previously defined area. It also requires a power source. A counter plate is used for mounting, which allows the camera to be rotated. This ensures a flexible response to changes on the construction site: If the surveillance area changes, Video Guard Compact does not have to be remounted, but can simply be rotated and aligned to the new area. As soon as the surveillance solution has been installed, Video Guard employees carry out the final software setup of the system via remote maintenance.
High-resolution view
Like the camera towers, Video Guard Compact also has a high-resolution ultra-lowlight camera. This can be flexibly positioned and achieves a detection range of up to 30 meters and a 100 degree viewing angle. Two integrated high-performance infrared headlights ensure optimum visibility even at night. Visibility in the dark is also up to 30 meters. The lighting is in the approved infrared range. Residents and road users are not disturbed by this. A loudspeaker is also installed for direct contact with the perpetrator. As soon as unauthorized persons enter the premises and trigger the alarm in the continuously manned control center, a control centre employee contacts the perpetrators. In many cases, unauthorized persons withdraw from the premises simply by being approached and crimes are prevented.
