Video Guard prevents theft and vandalism in Rech kindergarten
Hard to believe, but unfortunately true: kindergartens in this country are also increasingly affected by vandalism and theft. Some criminals want to destroy and harm senselessly. Others are targeting laptops, screens and the like. To prevent this, Video Guard is used at the Wildblumenwiese forest daycare center in the Ahr valley. The state-of-the-art camera system reliably monitors the building and grounds and protects the facility from major damage in the future.
Break-ins and vandalism in kindergartens: a topic that local newspapers in this country are reporting on more and more frequently. Many regions have seen an increase in such crimes in recent years. The cases range from senseless destruction to theft of money and valuables. The Wildblumenwiese forest daycare center in Rech (Ahr valley), which only opened in September 2022, was also affected. The facility is run by Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. Regionalverband Mittelrhein together with Kinderschutzbund Kreisverband Ahrweiler e.V. and the local community of Rech. It offers important daycare places that have been missing since the flood disaster. To prevent theft and vandalism, those responsible have decided to install a Video-Guard camera system on the daycare center grounds. The state-of-the-art monitoring device was positioned at the edge of the property so that it does not interfere with the children’s daily play. Nevertheless, its height and striking color make it highly visible to potential intruders and deter them. If unauthorized persons nevertheless enter the premises, they will be addressed loudly and clearly by the Video Guard control centre via loudspeaker and asked to leave.
