With the entry in the Official List of Contractors and Suppliers (ULV), ISG – and thus also the Video Guard camera system offered – was certified for the “Services of Detectives and Security Services” and thus confirmed as a reliable contract partner. The ULV lists companies that have proven their suitability as part of the prequalification process and for which there is a presumption of suitability for the award of public contracts. The individual proofs of expertise, performance and reliability, which are independent of the order, are deemed to have been provided upon acceptance. In this way, the directory, which has been in existence since 1953, makes it easier for contracting authorities to award public contracts.
The Video Guard camera towers, each up to six meters high, detect the selected surveillance area of the construction project with three ultra-lowlight cameras. These are deactivated during working hours. Especially for construction sites on busy roads or other public areas, it is important that all legal guidelines and requirements – including those set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – are fully complied with. The mobile camera towers are 100% GDPR-compliant in that unauthorized areas such as adjacent footpaths are hidden by the software.
